Auto suggestion is an important part of the thought process of cosmic spirituality. It we believe (i.e. identify ourselves) with a thought or concept, we eventually become that thought.

We do not become the thought by simply sitting and, ‘wishing that was me’. We speak the thought into being.

We can only speak the thought into being if our focus (or eye) is single.  If we hold on to thoughts that go against what we seek to become we will encounter destructive interference; and no ‘becoming’ takes place. So to ‘become’, your focus or eye has to be single.

We gain this singularity by killing or crucifying unwanted thoughts.  You may ask how can this be achieved.

Firstly, you must identify the thought for what if is. Secondly, you have to embrace the adverse effects the thought will have on the person you want to be. For e.g. let’s say you seek to be healthier than you presently are. You have developed a hunger and a thirst for that healthy you. However, you easily become addictive to unhealthy food.

You must first call or address the food as unhealthy food. Do not say ‘you know what .. it really is not that bad. I have friends who indulge and they seem fine after their indulgence.’ The truth is, you do not know how ‘fine’ your friends are. And you may never know the truth because they may not tell you.

Secondly, you must genuinely accept or embrace all the side effects  or adverse reaction of the unhealthy food. You do not say, ‘there is a chance that I may eat it and still be healthy,’ neither do you say or think that the unhealthiness is for someone out there … it will never happen to you. The truth is, it can happen to you as it can happen to anyone else.

Thirdly, you have to develop the courage to stand alone. The person you seek to become and will be happy with, is not necessarily the person your friends want to become.  What does this mean? You may have to stand alone.

If you choose to side with your friends; I repeat again, there will be destructive interference. And this will reduce the strength you have to become who you truly want to be.

Many scenarios can be played out to reduce your strength. There may be passive or active coercion in the form of name calling, alienation or an over simplification and devaluing of the character trait you seek to develop. These are all classified as destructive interference. Be prepared to stand alone.

After addressing the above three steps, you are now ready to engage yourself in Meditative Auto Suggestion (MAS).

Remember, you must take a single focal thought into MAS.

Select a quiet and comfortable yet somewhat familiar spot for this exercise.  You may choose to use meditative musical selections to assist you in creating the desired mood.

As you body slowly unwinds and relaxes itself, start your MAS. Begin repeating your Becoming Inspired Regenerative Thought (BIRTH) statement that you have constructed. You may choose to do so aloud at first. But as the meaning of the statement takes over your being and begins to increase the frequency at which you are vibrating allow your repetition to become inward (or silent).

Do this exercise as often as is possible until you realize that there is coherence between your thought and actions.

Below are some poetic MAS that will improve your spiritual well being and self esteem.

I Am Important

It is my responsibility to prove to others that I do matter. I do this by first conducting myself in a manner that presents me to the world as a respectable individual.

I strive for excellence in whatever I set out to accomplish. I ask for help. I am not afraid to try and fail.

I plan and execute my plans.

I work efficiently and effectively.

I weave uniqueness and creativity in all I do.

Uniqueness and creativity formulates my logo.

They speak to my individuality.

I Am Unique

I extend myself in diverse areas because I have a bundle of skills and creativity.

But I try not to spread myself thinly as this detracts from the person of excellence I consider me to be.

Each task I face I give it my best.

I always indulge my creativity and uniqueness.

I never approach a task with failure in mind.

After giving some tasks all the energy, uniqueness, skill and creativity I have within me; I find myself embracing failure.

My realization that this happens to everyone who have tried makes me feel free and fulfilled.

I am Responsible

I will take action to create a purpose and meaning to life.

I will create, and manage whatever anxiety that comes with choosing.

I will not be intimidated by failure.

I realize that failure happens only to those who have tried.

I Seek Freedom

Life is fleeting.

Friends do change.

My stay on earth is impermanent and,

I continue to evolve with every new experience.

I will not be imprisoned by these things.

Rather, I choose wisely how to respond to them.

Even in sadness I realize that there is a higher Law that governs the all.

I Am Free

I assert my freedom through self governance.

My principles are in alignment with the universal goals of self governance and oneness.

I think my principles.

I talk my principles.

I walk my principles.

In doing so I demonstrate to those around me that I do matter.

I am authentic.

I am as important to the universe as my fellowmen.

I Have A Dream

I have a dream.

This dream is more important than all the other dreams I ever had.

My dream is aligned to the purpose and meaning to life.

My life.

I have a dream.

My dream is aligned with the universal goal of self governance and oneness.

I have a dream.

I will throw all my energy behind this dream to make it a reality.

I have a dream.

My dream contributes to my sense of freedom.

I am at peace with myself because I dreamed and have a dream.

My dream is to show the world that I do matter in this life.

I can reach my dream.

I Entertain Myself

I approach everything I do with meaning and purpose.

Even entertaining myself.

I choose to entertain myself in ways that are spiritually and mentally uplifting.

I choose to entertain myself in ways that promote bodily health.

I choose to entertain myself in ways that promote oneness.

I choose to entertain myself in ways that promote self control and self governance.

I choose constructive entertainment,

Not destructive entertainment.

I choose constructive entertainment because,

I value me

Think highly of me

And wish to preserve me.

My freedom

My health

My well being

They all matter to me.

It is therefore my duty to refresh and to entertain myself responsibly.

My Self Meaning And Purpose

Life’s meaning and purpose is dictated by me.

I seek not only to satisfy my desires,

But to align my meaning and purpose with the common goals of the universe.

I seek to make a contribution that benefits not only me, but my fellowmen as well.

I view the world as a chain.

I am a very important link in that chain.

The chain depends on my strength for its survival.

I am strong.

I approach each day with the spirit of intention.

I am fierce.

I approach each challenge with tenacity.

I plan to accomplish,

And will accomplish that which I have planned.

I am my own hero.

Spirituality and Self Improvement

I am responsible for improving me.

I will create and recreate my personality.

I will think, rethink and change my thought process.

I will stand and change the stand I have taken.

I will engage in relationship building; but maintain my separateness

and individuality so as to realize my purpose and meaning if needs be.

I will cautiously choose how and where I want to relate.

I will avoid relationships that traps me into not achieving my purpose

and meaning.

I will break free from any tradition or thought process that stands in

the way of me creating the best me I can be.

I will use my emotional mind to create and recreate me

As I constantly seek to improve me.

Conquering Doubt and Fear

Sometimes I am overshadowed by doubt and fear.

Will my plans work?

Will they fail?

What lies ahead for me?

I realize that doubt is a natural part of human existence.

I will manage my doubt with courage and skill.

No matter what my circumstances are I will seek to be me.

I can because I am not alone.

I am connected to, and supported by the universe.

NB I do not claim or own this video.

I Embrace Difficult Challenges

I realize that the universal goal of self governance cannot be achieved without challenges.

Unknowing to me, these challenges have subtly built my character.

Challenges have molded me into:

Acceptance and aspiration

Awareness and authenticity

Compassion and commitment

Courage and consideration

Courtesy and creativity

Determination and detachment

Excellence and enthusiasm

Fairness and flexibility

Faith and forgiveness

Grace and gratitude

Humility and moderation

Resilience and independence

No longer will I approach challenging situations with a fear of doom and gloom.

They are indeed a necessary evil if I am to grow.
