 Oneness Vs Love

Meditation

I myself have used the word ‘love’ repeatedly. I do so in order to communicate with the average individual. But where does love sits with the cosmic consciousness? Let’s have a look.

The word ‘love’ is used to describe a specific dependent emotional variable.  It is worth noting that the words ‘love’ and ‘hate’ actually describes the same emotional variable. This emotional energy frequency or vibration is a continuum. We can love strongly, love less, get to the middle ground where we are not too certain if we love or hate. We can then swing along the continuum until we get to that point where we hate strongly.

We can love or hate without engaging the higher or true self which is founded on thought, reflection, consideration and reason. But love in the absence of the higher mind can be disastrous. We may take obsession as an example.

But let’s look beyond obsession and consider a more common scenario. Most of us will say we love chicken. We love the chicken so much that we kill it to eat it. Now, mark you, we were very kind to the chicken before we kill it. We gave it the ‘right’ nutrition and saw to its health. We even extended animal rights to it. However, in time, our love brought us to the point where we kill the chicken and ate it.

Love in the absence of the higher self has not caused us to kill only chickens; we fight and devour each other because we love the state, the land of our birth, our children, our spouse …and the list goes on.

So love, in the absence of an active true or higher self, can be mightily disastrous.

Meditation

Love, when governed by the true self or the higher governing principle, yields ‘oneness‘. Oneness builds in spite of; because it is founded on thought, reflection, consideration and sound reasoning. Oneness is not linear. It does not seek a selfish desire.  Oneness seeks the desire of ‘one’. And this one is cosmological.  It means oneness seeks and desires the health, wealth and well being of the all. It empowers the all. An aspect of the all is not empowered at the expense of the other. The all is one and is treated as one.

As we go through today, may we in our subconscious thought, seek to acquire that oneness.

Love Vs Hate

Meditation Exercises

I try to tell myself that love and hate are different emotions but are they really?

I love to see you suffer because I hate you. Right?

I would love for you to fail to prove my point…Sort of.

My only reason for killing animals is because I love to eat their flesh. Right?

But I hate the fact that you have been in need  for so long so here am I to the rescue. Hmmm

Love and hate…Are they the same emotion?
